Weekly Wrap up for the Week of January 17

23 January 2010 No Comment

What an exciting week it has been over here at the Professor of Play site. I am so happy to be joining Elizabeth Norton in the fun, and for me new, adventure of blogging.

Here’s a bit of what we had going on this week.

Monday

Elizabeth told us about the Tickle Me Elmo Grove toy. It wasn’t exactly what they expected but her and the boys had a fun time nevertheless. Read about her experience in Tickle Me Elmo Grove.

Tuesday

I blogged about how creating a coloring storybook with your child can be a fun and rewarding experience for both you and your child. One that also comes with many skills your children will need later in life. Read more and see the steps to take to create your own. Create a Story with your child.

Wednesday

In 32 hours of Travel in 3 weeks, we get to live vicariously through Elizabeth as she travels around the country promoting social media, products, and more. Check out the Wednesday blog and get some great travel tips.  Don’t leave home without them.

Thursday

For those of us who can’t leave home or escape too much, read my blog, For the Love of Reading, and see how reading can offer you an escape, a chance to build skills, or renew your parenting spirit.

Friday

Elizabeth gets us all teary-eyed with her latest blog, The Wedding Vows I Should Have Said.  How long have you been married? If you renewed your vows today what would you say to your husband? Get out a box of tissues and be prepared to feel a little nostalgic when you read this romantic blog.

It’s been a great week. We hope all of you enjoy the weekend and have fun making time to play.

Jenn
