Here’s something not only yummy to eat but pretty to look at. Our friends shared the recipe with us. Today, we’re baking it up to share with you.
Rainbow Glitter Bars
Ingredients for the Bars

shortening
1 egg
1 cup granulated sugar
2 sticks butter or margarine, softened
2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Ingredients for Glitter Sugar

1/4 -1/2 cup granulated sugar for each color
food colors
1 teaspoon water

Directions

Grease a 15×10 inch jelly roll pan. A cookie sheet works just as well.
Heat oven to 350 Degrees.
Separate egg– yolk and white. Keep both.
In a large bowl add egg yolk, 1 cup …

There’s something about Play-Doh, as a mom I think I have a love-hate relationship with it. What I remember from my youth is not separate distinct colors but Play-Doh that always seemed to be an oddly strange-brown or was it green color. Sure I remember all the cool toys you could use with your Play-Doh. There were all sort of contraptions to push Play-Doh through to get creatively-shaped Play-Doh noodles.
